TUESDAY NEWSDAY...TWO DAYS LATE
Wow. What a week it’s been. And not just with work, but personal and social life too. This is the first time I’ve had a stress headache in quite a while, but surprisingly I’m not feeling down, in fact, I feel determined to work harder and instead make positives from the negatives.
If you’ve been following along on my instagram, you may have seen a bit of the drama going on on OM’s page which all started when someone publicly claimed that his work is wrong, abusive, and degrading to women/models. I won’t go into the details, but this lead to a few things. One being that OM’s main instagram account was removed, which really sucks but hey, it also means a new start! Another thing is that I got OM in front of the camera properly for the first time, creating some images like this one below to challenge people’s perception of our art.

A couple of days later, we had two lovely models from Australia stay with us for a couple of nights - Penny Vyne and Evelyn Somner. On Tuesday we headed out to Putangirua Pinnacles - a two hour drive from home. The Pinnacles didn’t end up being that great to shoot at, so we went down to the coast nearby and got some incredible shots at sunset. By the time we got home it was nearly 10pm and we were all shattered. Here’s some shots from the day.
On top of all that, I’ve got so many shoots planned for the next couple of weeks, it’s mental! I’ll keep you all updated.
